Some of you have gone through the calculator demo videos and thought that I performed magic! I shall reveal the "secret" behind this! Read on!
Background: One of the videos showed me using the mouse cursor to click on the calculator buttons instead of my finger (see Casio model A).
Secret: The calculator you see is not a real physical calculator. It is a software called emulator (http://edu.casio.com/products/peripheral/82es-emulator/). Just run the software and the calculator will appear on your screen.
Purpose: This emulator is good for the classroom if you would like your students to follow your calculator steps. Run it on your laptop and project onto the screen.
Where to get it: Mr Quek WC brought in two such emulators (last year I think). The catch is you will need the CD in order to run the software. Cannot simply download and use anywhere. One is now with me, if you are interested you can take it from me. Just sign with Noraini.
There you have it. The magician has break her own code!
